Sorry but not polished in a bathroom and for sure not with kids to many chances of falls . Waht tile are you using I mean porcelain or what. I use 12 x24 porcelain tile a lot oin my design biz and yes they do show water marks from time to time but not enough to make even me crazy and I am a total clean freak, Be safe and the teens need to be cleaning their own bathroom floors and all.

Wouldn't recommend a polished porcelain tile in any situation where there is water and bare feet. Just too much of a hazard for anyone but especially kids and elderly people.

You need to investigate other brands of matte porcelain tile or change your lifestyle. It shouldn't be a major pain to clean.

There is a product called No-Skidding that can help with a floor. But you are making a big mistake by using polished porcelain for a bathroom floor.

Matte finish, and matte with a texture, are two different things.
